During regular animal hospital hours, we accept emergencies and are well equipped and staffed to handle just about any emergency situation. However, we recognize that an emergency can occur after we are closed, that is way we are also associated with two emergency hospitals.
There are two options for after hour and holiday emergencies. Even though nobody likes going to an emergency hospital, animal or human, emergencies will happen. Emergency hospitals provide a better service than what can be offered by the general practice veterinary hospital. A general practice hospital cannot be staffed 24/7…The emergency animal hospital is staffed with at least one veterinarian and several highly trained veterinary technicians (nurses). They can provide the continued monitoring or treatment all through the night or day on holidays.
